Nordland

Nordland is the region where Lofoten, Vesterålen, and the Helgeland coast meet — a county defined by the sea, mountains, and a light unlike anywhere else in Norway. With nine municipalities represented, this is our largest collection, and one of the most varied.

From the outermost islands of Lofoten, you will find Røst and Værøy, both featuring motifs inspired by the seabirds that define the islands — cormorants and puffins. Bodø, the Arctic capital and gateway to Lofoten, receives a retro midnight sun design. In Vesterålen, we cover Sortland (The Blue City), Øksnes (known for whale safaris from Stø), and Andøy, with an Arctic space theme inspired by the space exploration history at Andøya. On the Helgeland coast, you will find Dønna, a small island municipality with a retro coastal motif, and Vefsn, with a rose-painted salmon motif that connects folk art and river fishing. Rødøy rounds out the collection with a lion motif.
